LABEL IDEOLOGY
War Arts releases are exclusively black metal, and only distribution logistics are more tolerant with other styles and attitudes of metal or other underground scene (some Death metal and Grind), but always bearing in mind the idea of distributing bands we like and believe in, not considering all other bands we know will strongly sell in the market, via CD's, Vinyl or others.

War Arts was not created to be a mainstream label, but to give total support to the Underground scene. Like people who don't want to believe, War Arts is neither a "nsbm label" nor a "Political" label. We just support the extreme scene which includes all kinds of behaviour on the underground sound. Each band is responsible for their own statements and NOT War Arts.

HOW TO SIGN WITH WAR ARTS
You can send demo tapes to War Arts address and, for sure, we will carefully listen to your sound, but keep in mind that none of the bands will be chosen because of their music skills. If you are not from Europe you can also send your material, but priority will be given to European Black metal bands’ releases with underground attitude, and we shall not change this criteria. Some War Arts’ bands have already been in contact with us for a long time.

Do NOT send anything else but “real black metal”. No other stuff will be accepted. Don’t send neither any symphonic metal shit (like Cradle of filth, Dimmu borgir etc…as it will have no chances of release) nor emails with mp3’s attached (large emails does not recieve more attention but a fast click on delete button), links to download your music from a ftp, website whatever or myspace links. If you really want that we listen to your work, loose 10 minutes of your time, go to the postmail with a CDr and a paper telling all details of your work( band name, ideology, how many members, how you want the release etc....) and send it to the address on the contact link.

TRADES / DISTRIBUTION FROM WAR ARTS
We mostly work with labels and bands with similar ideology we have. Our old comrades are always priority (Some of them you can see on the link page). New labels or bands that it’s our first trade and if you contact us first than you have to send the package first, we will do the same if we contact you first. If you have band, label or zine which you feel that could be along the same ideology of War Arts, don't hesitate to offer your releases.

We obtain material mostly by trading, you just need to send an email with your tradelist and the trade points for each Cd, Vinyl etc…(on the format specify if it is CD or CDr). All emails are replied so if you didn’t get an answer in two or three days don’t hesitate to send the email again.

IMPORTANT ABOUT SENDING PACKAGES
Send always the Cd’s and Tapes well package without jewel boxes (We’ll do the same), it will be less expensive on the postmail for both of us. If you want to trade CD's with boxes just tell first on the email.
